GLOBAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Under the line management of the Victim Assistance Project Officer and in close collaboration with the
Database Officer, the Outreach Workers and the PSS Workers, the VA PO Assistant is supporting the teams
regarding information management, data entry and is managing the transportation process.
RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS DECRIPTION
Under the direct management of Kirkuk Victim Assistance Project Officer and in close collaboration with
the Database Officer, you will have to:
1. Manage the transportation process;
2. Assist the Project officer in his/her duties;
3. Support the Database officer in his/her duties;
4. Support Victim Assistance project as per request of the Project Officer;
1. Manage the transportation process
According to the priorities of the cases and as define by the Project officer in the planning of the
activities, ensure the proper transportation of the beneficiaries and their caregivers to the
In link with the administrative department, manage the payment of the center’s fees related to HI
beneficiaries being transported;
2. Assist the Project officer in his/her duties
Assist the Project officer in his/her reporting duties (files follow-up, teams’ data tracking);

Assist the Project officer in his/her communication and coordination duties within the teams;
Assist the Project officer as per his/her request.
3. Support the Database officer in his/her duties
Support the data entry of the beneficiary files in the appropriate database;
Support the proper archiving of the files hard copies
4. Support Victim Assistance project as per request of the Project Officer
Note that the VA Project Officer Assistant will be requested to remain very flexible, to respond to
additional tasks or changes as identified by his line manager.
Excellent Arabic, Kurdish and good English mandatory (oral and written).
Previous experience with international or local NGOs desirable
Previous experience in IT or IT background
Abilities to work within a team and collaborate;
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (and Microsoft Excel particularly);
Motivated, dynamic; able and willing to take initiatives;
Time and work management abilities as well as autonomy;
Willing to learn and develop professionally;
Open and interested in humanitarian work and disability issues.
