Overall purpose الهدف العام 

The Psychosocial (PSS) worker works as a primary mental health caregiver within the Première Urgence Internationale mobile healthcare program, according to identified needs and activity plan. The PSS worker is focused on provision of psychosocial services to identified beneficiaries. He/she is responsible for preparation and conduction of sector-related needs assessment, facilitating group therapy sessions, administrating referrals issued by team psychologists and running preventative mental wellness activities.

عامل الصحة النفسية والاجتماعية يعمل لتقديم العناية الاولية للصحة العقلية ضمن البرنامج الصحي المتنقل  لمنظمة PUI تبعا للاحتياجات المحددة وخطة الانشطة . عامل الصحة النفسية والاجتماعية يركز على تقديم الخدمات النفسية والاجتماعية للمستفيدين المحددين.

هو/هي مسؤول عن تحضير واجراء تقييم الاحتياجات ,تسهيل جلسات العلاج الجماعي , ادارة قضايا الاحالة بواسطة فريق المعالجين النفسيين وسير انشطة الصحة العقلية الوقائية. 

                                                           

    

Responsibilities and scope of duties المسؤوليات والمهام

  • Ensure mental health care and psychosocial services, maintaining a focus on mental health promotion

تاكيد عناية الصحة العقلية وخدمات الدعم النفسي والاجتماعي والتركيز على توعية الصحة العقلية                                  

  • Ensure mental health promotion in the awareness activities

ضمان اجراء توعية صحة عقلية خلال انشطة التوعية

  • Contribute to improving access to mental health care via group discussions, referral follow up and information sharing

المشاركة في تطوير الوصول الى خدمات الصحة العقلية عبر مناقشة المجموعة , ومتابعة حالات الاحالة ومشاركة المعلومات 

  • Participate in collection of medical data for a better general follow up and reporting of the mental health situation in the area

المشاركة في جمع البيانات الطبية لمتابعة عامة افضل وتقديم تقرير عن الحالة العقلية في المنطقة

  • Guarantee a strong link with all members of the mobile healthcare program to provide primary mental health to identified beneficiaries

ضمان صلة وصل قوية مع جميع اعضاء الفريق الصحي لتوفير خدمات صحة عقلية اولية للمستفيدين المحددين

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

MANDATORY

-At minimum BA degree in field of social work, psychology, or related field

-2 + years clinical practice in primary mental health care

-Excellent communication and analytical skills

-Understanding of the Iraq medical system, particularly in Ninewa governorate, and with reference to services available at different types of facility and the referral system

-Language: Arabic

-Software: Pack Office

 

OPTIONAL

-Training in community or public health

-Experience in community or public health

-Experience in a mobile clinic setting

-Experience with an NGO

-Experience with Première Urgence Internationale

-Ability to work in unstable circumstances

-IT skills, particularly data analysis and presentation (Excel)

-Language: English
