¨      To ensure that all Oxfam assets and equipment are in a good condition at Moqdadyah office and guesthouses.

¨      Ensure that all facilities, supplies and services for the Kalar/Moqdadyah offices and guest houses are in place and maintained; this is to include the communication network water, electricity and office/guest houses supplies were appropriate;

¨      Ensure that all Oxfam equipment, parts and tools are stored safely and securely

¨      To perform any other duties as requested by the Logistics officer.




¨      Provide support in procurement of items in line with Oxfam procedures

¨      Ensure that all procurements of goods and services are carried out with the objective of obtaining the best value for money and the best possible service to the requester.

¨      To provide support in keeping records and maintain contacts with suppliers and local repair/maintenance service providers.

¨      Archiving and filing all procurement transaction from the proceed till the closing of transaction.

¨      Ensure Health and Safety procedures are followed at specific sites.





¨      To manage Oxfam store in Moqdadyah and all related document (bin cards, stock request cards, stock reconciliation cards, GRN’s and waybills), and prepare stores reports on monthly basis.

¨      Ensure that all Oxfam equipment, parts and tools are stored safely and securely.



¨      Supervise the Logistic support Staff Including drivers, and cleaners; Prepare weekly working schedule for the drivers.

¨      Ensure the Oxfam rented vehicles movement guidelines are implemented and keep vehicle files for all documentations for each vehicle and make sure that the vehicle daily logbook is maintained.

¨      To provide driving support on time need at a speed which is adjusted the road and weather conditions, and to drive with consideration for safety of the passengers, other road users, the load, and the technical state of vehicle.

¨      Insure that all Oxfam leases are in good condition and proper documented

¨      Implements, and monitors logistics systems in accordance with Oxfam policies and procedures.

¨      Establishes and maintains good contacts with suppliers, government offices, and other NGOs with regards to logistical matters.

¨      Reports monthly on all logistics activities to the Logistics officer


¨      Performs any other duties as requested by the Logistics officer

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

Key Competencies:



·      2 years experience in logistics and administration

·      Willing to travel and work in Miqdadiyah to support the team there (at least once a week)

·      Good knowledge and experience of logistics and basic administration.

·      Good interpersonal and team-working skills.

·      Good spoken in English, Arabic and Kurdish.

·      Attention to detail and good numeracy

·      Ability to keep clear and concise records

·      Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs.


·      Valid clean driving licence and sound driving skills.
