o Graduated from the college for the Department of (English / Arabic / Kurdish Language) is plus.
o Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in teaching
o NGO working as trainer at least one year
o availability to conduct literacy courses and/or Life skills training will be an asset
o Ability to train people, facilitate trainings and build participants’ knowledge and skills
o Ability to work in a multicultural context as a flexible and respectful team
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
o Fluency in written and spoken English, Arabic and Kurdish.
o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Preparing and holding training courses for beneficiaries according to a prepared plan, alternating between ( Arabic/ Kurdish/English) lessons.
o Provide course material to participants.
o Identification of curricula relevant to specific age groups/level and providing relevant technical inputs.
o Ensure that the lessons are planned and delivered in a highly participative and interactive.
o Ensure that the training schedule is consistent with the contract and class schedule.
o Participate in the regular meeting with the team when required.
o Adaptation to the local context Methodologies and techniques are fully understood.
o Preparation of documents during training sessions (attendance sheet, pre and post tests, …. etc.)
o Any other duties as requested by line manager.
