Description

Job is to conduct SEL (Social Emotional Learning) training to teachers.

Conducting training for two days and preparing pre-test and post-test for evaluation (The aim of test is to evaluate the effect of SEL training)

 

Description of organization

The authorized NPO IVY is an NGO headquartered in Yamagata City in Japan established in 1991. It started overseas assistance in Cambodia since 1996 using expertise of agriculture, water and sanitation, and income generation assistance. Using such expertise, IVY has also assisted people affected by disaster and poverty in the Philippines, East Timor, Iraq, Syria, Bangladesh and Ukraine.

Since 2013, IVY started education assistance and distributing nonfood items in Kurdish region of Iraq (KRI) to provide quality education for Syrian refugee, IDP and host community children. IVY Iraq office was registered as a humanitarian organization in KRI in 2013 and registered with Iraq government in 2018.

 

 

Qualifications & Preferred Skills

 

1) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in social studies, pedagogy, or management.

2)Have an excellent experience in conducting SEL (Social Emotional Learning) training

3) Fluent in writing and speaking in English, Arabic and Kurdish.

4) Good communication skill           

5)Trainer is required to comply with IVY’s Code of Conduct and PSEAH policy. Specific responsibility of the trainer is as follows :

-Sign and comply to all the code of conduct and related policies and conduct everyday work in line with humanitarian principles with high professional ethical standard.

-Monitor the work of contractors (or sub-contractors) so that they are also carrying out their work with professional ethical standard in a legal manner. If any doubt of the wrong doing is observed, inform to IVY’s staff about the incidents.

-Monitor the work of contractors (or sub-contractors) so that they do not engage in any behavior that is physically or sexually abusive against the people in the target area and project beneficiaries, or any other inappropriate behaviors. If any doubt of abusive or inappropriate behaviors is found, inform to IVY’s staff about the incidents.
