Mission East, founded in Denmark in 1991, is an international humanitarian and development organisation undertaking disaster relief and development programmes in Middle East, Eastern Europe, and Asia.

In Iraq, Mission East provides assistance for both urgent basic needs for those displaced by violence as well as longer-term support for returnees and IDPs in protracted displacement settings. Our current programme includes NFI and shelter, cash transfers, WASH assistance, livelihoods support, protection and psychosocial support activities delivered through multi-purpose community centres.

Key Tasks and Objectives:


  • The Enumerators will conduct vulnerability and technical assessment in Werdia village/ Sinjar in liaison with other relevant sectors to ensure the most effective response, both quantitative and qualitative data should be gathered on the profile/needs and living conditions of the target community.


Key tasks include:

  • Lead the assessments through door to door in the assigned area.
  • Technically checking the condition of sanitation facilities at HH level
  • Ensure proper filing of documents in soft copies using Kobo app.
  • Handle work in an efficient and timely manner.



Qualifications & Preferred Skills


Required qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • University degree on technical related field
  • Good knowledge on Kobo app and using tab in data collection.
  • A previous experience in conducting MCN assessment will be preferred.
  • Teamwork skills and the ability to cooperate with others.
  • Sensitivity to different cultures and ways of working.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Good documentation and report writing skills is required.
